WELCOME TO LBC LIFE GROUPS

The purpose of the LBC Life Groups is to grow church members and attenders in their knowledge of God’s Word and provide them with Christian life skills.

LBC Life Groups are designed to build Kingdom leaders and to equip believers to serve by engaging them in a way that moves them toward spiritual transformation through short-term, self-contained training in an atmosphere of accountability to God and to one another. While our church’s small groups exist to reach people and put them into relationships, Life Groups are designed to equip believers for Kingdom ministry. The following is a chart which shows the difference between small groups and LBC Life Groups:

SMALL GROUPS                                                    LBC LIFE GROUPS
-People centered                                                     -Content centered
-Begin small and grow                                             -Begin large and finish with a smaller number
-Indefinite in length                                                  -Last for a specific time period
-Built to teach, evangelize and assimilate               -Built to equip and mature leaders for ministry
-Reach unbelievers and believers                           -Focus on believers who need maturity

Life Groups will be made up of believers who are eager to learn how to put their faith into practice and share it with others. The focus of Life Groups will be training, their context will be discipling and their intent will be to move participants on to the next level of Christian experience and commitment. Life Groups will help make the transition from “discipled” to “discipler.”

Life groups will be held on Sunday evenings from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on the following dates:

February 11, 2018 – April 29, 2018

Life groups will have something for everyone from preschoolers to senior adults. Join us on Sunday nights!
